gsettings-ubuntu-schemas software package provides GSettings deskop-wide schemas for Ubuntu, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gsettings-ubuntu-schemas
gsettings-ubuntu-schemas is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gsettings-ubuntu-schemas package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gsettings-ubuntu-schemas *
You will get with gsettings-ubuntu-schemas package name, version, architecture and description in a table
